Bromine Series



Usage: It is mainly used to prepare bromide, and used in medicine, pesticide, dye, perfume, photographic materials, fire extinguishing agent, mineral processing, metallurgy, tanning, water purification and other departments as general analytical reagents, oxidants, absorbents of ethylene and heavy hydrocarbons and organically synthesized brominating agents.


Tetrabromobisphenol A

Uses: As one of the flame retardants of Bromine Series, this product is widely used as a flame retardant for synthetic materials, which is widely used because of its low toxicity and good compatibility with base materials. As an additive, it is mainly used for flame retardant of ABS, HIPS, epoxy resin, phenolic resin and unsaturated polyoxyethylene. As a reactive flame retardant, Tetrabromobisphenol A is widely used to produce brominated epoxy ester intermediate, brominated polycarbonate. In addition, Tetrabromobisphenol A can also be used to synthesize higher-grade flame retardants.


Brominated Epoxy Resin

Usage: Brominated epoxy resin BEO-3 is an additive flame retardant, which is mainly used in PBT, PET, PTU, PC/ABS, ABS and HIPS. It has good melted flow rate, high flame retardant efficiency, excellent thermal stability and light stability, and can endow the flame retardant materials with good physical and mechanical properties and is not easy to frost.


Decabromodiphenyl ethane

Usage: This product is a new, broad-spectrum, high-efficiency, additive and environment-friendly flame retardant with excellent thermal stability and high bromine content. It has the advantages of excellent thermal stability, high bromine content, strong UV resistance and low toxicity, etc. It is widely used in styrene polymers, engineering thermoplastics, wire and cable coatings, insulators, elastomers and thermosetting plastics, etc.



Product Description: This product is a white powder with a melting point of 110-115℃, a theoretical bromine content of 67.74% and a specific gravity of 2.2. It is soluble in dichloromethane, toluene and acetone but insoluble in water and methanol.


Methyl octabromoether

Usage: This product is the main product of tetrabromobisphenol A deep processing, and its flame retardant effect will be better. It belongs to additive flame retardant, which is used for flame retardant of EPS, XPS board, flame retardant polyolefins (such as PP, PE, polybutylene, etc.), thermoplastic high elastomer materials, polypropylene plastics and fibers, polystyrene foam plastics, as well as flame retardant finishing of polyester fabric and flame retardant of vinylon coated double-sided leather. At the same time, it is suitable for polystyrene, unsaturated polyester, polycarbonate, polypropylene, synthetic rubber, etc. It is an excellent substitute for the flame retardant hexabromocyclododecane at present.


Hydrobromic Acid

Usage: It is used in the manufacture of inorganic and organic bromides, high-purity extraction and bromide synthesis, analytical reagent, perfume and dye synthesis, etc.; and used in medicine to synthesize sedatives and anesthetics. It is also a good solvent for some metal minerals. The petroleum industry is used as a separating agent for alkoxy and phenoxy compounds, and a catalyst for the oxidation of alicyclic hydrocarbons and chain hydrocarbons to ketones, acids or peroxides.
